US Prison Released Bitcoin Entrepreneur Charlie Shrem
Here is a great news for the advocates of the Bitcoin community and cryptocurrency. Charlie Shrem, who is a founding member and former Vice Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation has been released by the criminal authorities of the US from the imprisonment. Since March 30, 2015, one of the founders of the BitInstant has been in a high security federal prison camp in the state of Pennsylvania.
A message was sent out by the Shrem to the public on Tuesday that I was released from the Lewisburg FPC a few weeks ago. He further states that I want to thank all of the people, who wrote, sent books, magazines, money and their support. I have no words to describe my affection and appreciation to thank all of you. Again, I want to thank you so much.
I and Courtney have currently relocated temporarily in the Southern Pennsylvania. The summer months will be spent with us enjoying good food, friends, family, outdoors. I will also do all that things that I miss during my time in prison. I have found myself grateful to be back home and I am very excited to move forward in my life. I am excited about the new projects and looking forward to see what the people has been working on.
In 2014, the Shrem was pleaded guilty to the charges of the transmission of the unlicensed money as a part of pleadeal. He was accused of supporting the bitcoin based economy the Silk Road marketplace through his bitcoin exchange Bitinstant. He was sentenced tor two years prison past year.
However, the Shrem is not completely free and will remain under the requirements of the same communication. It is established for his incarceration, for preventing him from doing the interviews for the media.
